Last year's trip was absolutely amazing! Truly a memory I will will last a lifetime! I got to see the small town german life and festivals and then I got to visit the big cities of Frankfurt and Berlin. It was an absolute whirlwind of a trip. I can never thank the wohnigs enough for those experiences and their generosity. A lot has happened since last year though. I have taken more german courses, I have been accepted into my Education Program, I turned 21 and my little sister got her driver's liscence. About a month ago my official favorite Aunt Joy, offered to send me to Berlin for a six week program at the Freie Universitaet Berlin. I am beyond excited about this trip and opportunity. I am going with one of my very good friends Marybeth and another german student Anna, and I am certain we are going to have the most amazing time ever! We are all staying with Berliner Host families and can't wait to meet them!!! I am going to blog on my trip as often as I can since will have very limited access to everyone from the US this year. I have 10 days until I leave, so until then I will be packing and planning like crazy.
