I'm going back to Berlin and FUBis Again! Although this time I'm going for 11 weeks!!! I'm doing this on a tight budget and am going to find a way to make the most of every euro I have while I'm there. As it stands my budget will be €10/day or €70/week, for food and entertainment expenses... All else is paid for. It won't be much, but let's see what I can do with it!
My goal is to do a weekly Vlog that shows the highlights of my spending and activities. I want them to be fun and light, but also informative so I can show travelers on a budget that they can do it too! I ambitiously want to say that I will blog everyday and chronicle my spending, but I know myself too well... Given that this blog lasted a whole 2 days last trip I think that is asking a bit too much of myself. I think setting up for a minimum of 2 blog entries per week will be reasonable. It will force me to not only keep you, my lovely friends and readers up-to-date, but help me remember later all of the great things I did on this trip :)
I really would love for this blog to be interactive with anyone reading this. Feedback and comments on any post are welcomed along with any advice on how to save money or some inexpensive activities that I haven't done. So I'm going to start this portion of the blog with a request:
For one of my 11 weeks in Berlin I will not have a dorm to stay in, So I am looking at other options. The dorm is available for me if I MUST use it, but I'm hoping to string together some couch surfing stays and save some of the dorm fee to spend on something fun! So if anyone knows of a friend in Berlin that would be willing to allow me to stay on their couch for a few days to a week I would greatly appreciate it!
